These hydrophones are designed specifically for the offshore oil and gas marine seismic survey industry. Manufactured in high volume, these hydrophones combine high performance with low cost. Teledyne Benthos is the worlds leading producer of hydrophones used in arrays up to 10 kilometers long while towed in multiple lengths for 2D and 3D surveys. Teledyne Benthos also offers versions for export restricted countries.

GeoPoint
The GeoPoint is the standard within the industry, approaching 1 million produced to date. With a rated operational performance to 200 m and fully hermetic packaging, the GeoPoint is practically indestructible. Its patented piezoceramic configuration produces the highest fidelity response available in the industry.  An export version of the GeoPoint hydrophone is also available.

AQ-2000 Hydrophone
The AQ-2000 hydrophone represents the latest innovative acoustic sensor technology developed by Teledyne Benthos for shallow or deep water exploration.  It is well-suited for both towed streamer and ocean bottom cable (OBC) applications that require stable operating performance over a wide range of water depths.  The AQ-2000 has excellent acceleration canceling qualities and exceptionally wide frequency bandwidth.  The AQ-2000 is ready for installation into standard array mounting configurations or integration into custom molded packages.
