AQ-1 & AQ-16 Hydrophone Cartridges
Rugged, low-cost AQ-1 and AQ-16 hydrophones are cylindrical in shape with through conductors.  A spare conductor is provided for series or parallel wiring in tight areas.  Their design makes them ideal for use in arrays where towing speeds are high and excellent towing characteristics with minimal noise are required.

AQ-4 Hydrophone Cartridges
The AQ-4 hydrophones is designed to compensate for noise generated from array movement known as acceleration noise.  Noise is substantially reduced by symmetrically supporting the active element inside the mounting structure.  Teledyne Benthos has achieved exceptional noise cancellation by the use of tight element quality control and the use of custom, automated assembly fixtures.

AQ-2000 Hydrophone
The AQ-2000 hydrophone represents the latest innovative acoustic sensor technology developed by Teledyne Benthos for shallow or deep water exploration.  It is well-suited for both towed streamer and ocean bottom cable (OBC) applications that require stable operating performance over a wide range of water depths.  The AQ-2000 has excellent acceleration canceling qualities and exceptionally wide frequency bandwidth.  The AQ-2000 is ready for installation into standard array mounting configurations or integration into custom molded packages.

RAFOS Threaded Hydrophone
RAFOS hydrophones are rugged, low-cost sensors with an integral mechanical thread mount and 0-ring seal.  The design is ideal for direct attachment to electronics housings and other bulkhead mounting applications.
