| Teledyne Benthos Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) are extremely powerful, compact, open-frame inspection class vehicles featuring extensive built-in flexibility. With over 25 years experience in the ROV market, we have the experience and equipment to meet your underwater inspection needs. Teledyne Benthos ROV units share the common advantage of being small and lightweight yet powerful enough to meet our customers’ requirements in all types of challenging environments.
Our vehicles can navigate strong currents, carry a multitude of sensors and payloads. They offer the enhanced flexibility of a modular design that allows the system to be reconfigured and ‘grown’ as needed. Each of the major ROV components/modules (i.e. thrusters, cameras, lights, electronics bottle, and flotation) are designed for easy installation or removal, making maintenance and the addition of options simple while minimizing downtime. This modular design also allows efficient upgrades and updates in the future, such as new cameras and/or sensor technology, as these items becomes available.
