Accountant
Teledyne Benthos, Inc., is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The right candidate will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, credit and collections, payroll, preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing sales and use tax filings for several states, and performing account analyses.
A BS/BA degree in accounting with two to five years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, strong computer skills and the ability to work independently are requirements for this challenging position. Additionally, excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced multi-task environment are essential for the successful candidate. Should have experience with Microsoft Office products and ADP payroll software.
