Electronic Technician
Teledyne Benthos, Inc. is seeking an experienced person for the sub assembly production team at our East Falmouth facility.
This position will involve building, testing, and troubleshooting to the component level sub-assemblies and electromechanical products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. He/she must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team environment.
Requirements:
- 4 – 6 years technical experience
- Ability to read assembly prints and procedures.
- Strong electronic/mechanical aptitude
- Knowledgeable in the use of basic test equipment (O-scope, DVM, Spectrum Analyzer, etc)
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Must be able to lift 60lbs on a regular basis
- Computer skills and knowledge of Office software
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder
Preferred:
- ASEE or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with oceanographic instrumentation a definite plus
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing tools/techniques
- Basic understanding of Lab View
Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Teledyne Benthos, Inc. is looking for an individual to assemble printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and electro mechanical sub-assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in East Falmouth.
Requirements:
- 2 – 4 years of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to read assembly prints, procedures, and sketches
- Printed circuit board assembly (surface mount and thru-hole)
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Able to quickly understand and adapt to changes in work
- Self starter requiring minimal supervision
- Computer skills and knowledge of Office software
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder
Preferred:
- IPC soldering certification
- Experience in using basic test equipment
